ANSI Compliance Solutions (ACS) in a Nutshell

Modified on Fri, 24 Apr at 10:03 AM

ANSI Compliance Solutions is an internet application invoked and run from your browser. There is nothing to install on your computer, so you can be up and running as soon as your account is authorized.

Setup
ANSI Compliance Solutions is based on "reviews." You can set up any number of reviews in in ANSI Compliance Solutions. Each review is defined by your choice of jurisdictions and your selection of the locations and operations within your company that you want to cover.

High-Level Screening
Depending on your jurisdiction, there may be up to many hundreds of requirements that could apply to you. By asking you simple "applicability" questions, ANSI Compliance Solutions let you decide which of these requirements need further investigation. This process, called "high level screening," promotes efficiency by eliminating those requirements that have nothing to do with your review or facility (which is often a large majority of them).

Detailed Screening for ANSI Compliance Solutions
ANSI Compliance Solutions takes this process to the next step, and leads you through the remaining requirements, presenting "actions" that need to be taken to meet the requirement. This is called "detailed screening," a straightforward process that allows you to include or exclude each action by means of a mouse click. What remains is a comprehensive list of the actions you need to take to be in compliance.

Task Writing
ANSI Compliance Solutions even lets you write specific tasks to implement those actions that you now know are required for compliance. You can use the available worksheets to keep track of these tasks or export them from ACS into your own task management system.
