When you enter the ANSI Compliance Solutions (ACS) web application, the first step will be to log in to the application. This is accomplished by entering your username and password. Various conditions may prevent you from logging in to ACS. This is what you can do about them:
If you forgot your username:
Click on the "Forgot your username?" link on the login page. You will be asked to supply an email address. This should be the e-mail address associated with your username. An email will be sent containing the username(s) that are registered in ACS with that email address.
If you do not get an email, it may mean that the email address you entered is not valid. This can happen if you are registered with another email address, or if you are not registered at all. If you got an email but it didn't list any usernames, it means there are no ACS users registered with that email address. In either case, you will have to seek the help of a ACS administrator at your company who can register you or correct your email address.
If you forgot your password:
Click the "Forgot your password?" link on the login page. You will be prompted to supply your username. An email will be sent to the email address that is registered in ACS for that username. That email will contain a link that you can click to reset your password. For security reasons, passwords are not visible anywhere in the system and cannot be retrieved; only reset. See the "How to Change Passwords" subtopic below for more details.
