Most tables in the ANSI Compliance Solutions have a common set of controls that you can use to specify which lines of data are to appear in the control and to navigate through the results.
Header:
The top line of the control or table is a header which defines the columns in the table. Some columns of this line may have a "funnel" icon. If you click on this item, a dropdown will allow you to limit the lines that appear in the table according to the choices you make in that dropdown. For example, you may be able to limit the lines to those whose values start with a certain set of characters.
Search Table Contents:
Most tables in have a "Search Table Contents" control just above them. You may type one or more characters into this control. The table will then be filtered to show only rows containing those characters somewhere in the row. The characters may appear in any column, and anywhere within the column value. This control is not case sensitive.
Paging Controls:
Results are presented in pages; if there are only a few lines in a table, they may all appear in the first page. Otherwise, you can navigate through the pages to see the remaining lines. A set of controls at the bottom of the table lets you do this.
The highlighted number in the white rectangle shows you which page you are currently viewing, and the arrows on either side move up and down through the table pages. The number with dropdown control lets you set the number of lines that will appear in each page.
Refresh Control:
The green circular arrow in the bottom, left-hand corner of the table refreshes the table results. This is normally not needed, since nothing will have changed unless you changed it. However, in some cases, others may be doing activities in the system that may affect your table. In these cases, you can use the refresh control to display those changes.
